Procedure for submission
Proposals should be in the form of an Outline Paper, limited to 1,000 words, including figures and tables (max. two A4 pages) and must contain adequate information to allow a sound referee review.
Two forms of proposal will be considered:
- Platform Presentation (must complement the listed session theme).
- Poster Presentation (on any relevant topic).
The following information must be included with your submission:
- Author's name & affiliation
- Title of presentation
- Type of presentation for platform presentations, the proposer must identify the session (from those listed in this announcement) in which the paper would be presented. For posters, the proposer may identify one of the listed sessions or may indicate that it is for another relevant area
- Email address
- Telephone & fax numbers
Submissions should be made via the Conference website using the on-line system. For guidelines on formatting all submissions and to find out more information about the Conference visit: www.iswa2009.org. Submissions are welcome from 10 November 2008 and must be received by 29 March 2009.
On the basis of the proposals submitted, a review will be undertaken to select papers for presentation at the congress and the format for the presentation (platform or poster). If selected, an 8-page full manuscript must be submitted on schedule for inclusion in the congress proceedings. At least one author of each selected paper and poster must register and attend the congress to present the paper. Authors must meet their own expenses (registration fee, travel, accommodation, etc) to attend the congress.
